      The Klondyke Hotel was built by Al (Klondike) Jenkins with the gold he mined in the Klondike Gold Fields. It was situated where the Schmeler House is now. The hotel was owned by Mr. Babcock when it burned in 1936.

      This is a 6 page booklet dedicated to the memory of James S. Freeborn, M.D. F.R.C.S. He was the Magnetawan community's doctor for forty years. The booklet contains a record of the service and a biography of the good doctor.

      This plaque was created by the town of Magnetawan.
