      1945 Chamber of Commerce published a booklet promoting Brighton businesses, statistics and community resources. This one was for sale at Scanlon Drug Store at Main and Prince Edward

      The 1911 Voters' List was printed by the Brighton Ensign, the predecessor of the Brighton Independent. A feature is the occupation of voters is shown. While "farmer" and "labourer" as you would expect is common also shown are gentleman,lock tender and widow.
