      This photo shows a McLaughlin Buick that was built in Oshawa, and was owned by George Campbell (1872-1943). This vehicle was later damaged when a plane crashed on top of it during an early flying demonstration near Oakland, Ont.

      This photograph depicts an aviation crash near Oakland, Ontario. Mrs. Campbell and three other women had just gotten out of their car moments before this accident occurred. Fortunately, no one--including the pilot--was injured. The car was taken to Oshawa for the $800 repair.
