      Trafalgar Castle was built as the residence of Sheriff Nelson Gilbert Reynolds in 1859 to 1862. This picture was taken not long after it was completed.

      Perry's Block was located opposite the outlet at Elm Street. It was built by John Ham Perry in 1858. The building was destroyed by fire on June 10, 1864 and was replaced by McMillan's Block the same year.

      Perry's Block burned down in 1864. The first Royal Hotel was built in 1862 and burned down in 1872.
