      Notes that accompany this and other photos of the mill operations in Nestorville indicate that the Thessalon Lumber Co. and started up about 1907-08 and operated until 1915 when Thomas Nestor sold the operation to the Bishop Family.

      Notes indicate that the people in this photo are Jack Munroe and Orville Beadle, but it is not clear who is who.

      Notes on the back of this photo state that this photo was taken at the 'ski slope' in Nesterville. However, all of the other pictures of this ramp refer to it as a toboggan slide.

      Notes on the back of this photo read "Nesterville mill (Thessalon Lumber Co.) later Bishop Lbr.Co. and finally MacFadden Lbr. Co. Built in 1907, burned 1927."
