      Joseph Thomas Clark (1866–1937), was born in Flesherton. About 1879, at 13 years old, he joined the Durham Review to learn the skills of the newspaper trade. To further his skills, he worked in Toronto and other points before he bought the Pickering News in partnership with his brother James. …
