      Notes on the back of this photo read, "Donated by Orville Beadle, Lizzie Kirby. Born 08/June 1866, is wife of Henry Kirby sawyer, 1901 census." This is the only photograph with W. W. Bennett - Photographer marked on it. He was the first photographer in Thessalon, circa 1880.

      J.B. Morgan is credited with providing not only a sustainable economic base to the area, but for introducing some of the most modern farming equipment, livestock strains, and crop developments to the local agricultural community, while operating his farm in the 1960s.
