      Exterior of the building at 21 Allen Street west in Waterloo originally housing the Waterloo Bedding Company factory, later housing Ontario Table and Chair Company which moved to Marsland Drive. Building was torn down after 2010 and condominiums were built on the site.

      Construction began in 1911 and was completed in 1913. The clock and tower were removed in 1956, and the building ceased to be used as a Post Office in 1967. The tower was restored in 1991, followed by the clock in 2003.

      Although Palermo failed to receive a heritage district designation, very stiff guidelines as per the Winter 2011 Trafalgar Township Historical Society Newsletter were approved by the Town of Oakville.
