      St. Thomas Anglican Church was located at 101 Winchester Road East. It was built in 1869 at the south east corner of Winchester Road and Anderson Street.

      The Brooklin Public and Continuation School was built in 1923 at the south east corner of Highway 12 and Winchesteer Road. It was closed in 1970 and demolished in 1982.

      Patterson's Creamery was located at 58 Winchester Road.

      Luther Ernest Vipond was born at Brooklin on 20 September 1914. He was a star hockey and lacrosse player and from 1954-1979 he was manager of the Brooklin Memorial Arena and a mentor for many Brooklin sports clubs. Vipond was injured in an accident in May 1982 and died in …
