      The McGibbon House served Milton as a hotel for many decades under various names. It was destroyed by fire in 1973.

      The building was demolished. It was located on Main Street in approximately the position now occupied by Carriage Square. Three copies of photograph.

      The building was at 244 Main Street East. The Metropolitan Bank was taken over by the Bank of Nova Scotia. The building was eventually demolished and replaced with the new Bank of Nova Scotia Building. Three copies of photograph.

      Looking west, in the centre of the picture is the old Town Hall (now offices) and to the right is the old power station which was demolished.
