      John Mark Rowe and Dr. Mary Rubio hold the designation plaques from Heritage Halton Hills for the Norval Presbyterian Manse and for the Caretaker’s cottage. The plaques were opened at a meeting of the Norval L.M. Montgomery Society at the caretaker’s cottage, 404 Draper Street.

      Tamarac Lodge in Monck township, was built by Dr. Fraser Greig of Bracebridge in 1944. In later years, the lodge changed hands several times and changed its name to Tamwood Lodge. It was torn down in 1987 to make way for the construction of Touchstone development.
