      The Queen Elizabeth Way bridge over Sixteen Mile Creek was built in 1939 and bears resemblance to those over Credit River and Bronte Creek. The construction of an additional bridge to accomodate higher traffic volume resulted in the disappearance of this particular view.

      Ed Whitlock was the first man over the age of seventy to run a marathon in under three hours. This photograph was taken at the end of Scotia Bank Marathon in Toronto. His time was 2hrs.54mins.49sec. at the age of 73.
