      Vertical bents are being lifted into place on the second level of the trestle. The crane doing the lifting is stationed behind the first level.

      Construction started in 1944. There have been six name changes since construction. Today it is known as Marathon Pulp Inc. Owned by Tembec/Kruger.

      Black and white photo (#3) of Port Arthur Ore Dock as seen from the east. Pilings were driven into an area 900 by 60 feet. In the background, a suction dredge, called Primrose, is in operation. The contract for dredging was won by the Canadian Dredge and Dock Company.
