      This is a picture of Nancy Martin's grandfather's house circa 1940. The house was located directly behind the Jordan House. It was converted to 2 apartments, but (as of 2009) has been removed by the Town to create a 'right of way'.

      Condition: Copy is good - original looks like it had been damaged.

      Canadian Pacific Railway locomotive class D10k was built in Montreal by the Montreal Locomotive works in October of 1912. It was used for weight/freight service on the Nipigon and Heron Bay subdivisions and used for pusher service on Selim Hill. The engine was retired in February 1960.

      Photographs of a Pacific typed CPR class G3H engine. It was built by the Canadian Locomotive Company in Kingston Ontario in August of 1944. It worked passenger service between North Bay and Fort William. Engine 2421 was retired in 1961.

      This is a photograph of a Mikado type, CPR class D1E. It was built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in 1913. This engine provided freight service on the Nipigon subdivision between Schreiber and Fort William. Engine 5189 was retired in December of 1957.

      This photograph shows the shop tracks at Schreiber, looking from the west to the east. To the left side of the picture is the roundhouse with the enclosed turntable. In the background is the coal chute and sand house. To the far right are the car shops.
