      Thomas Hamar Greenwood was born at Whitby February 7, 1870 and left Canada for England in 1895. He was chief secretary for Ireland from 1920-1922 and died at London, England on September 10, 1948. Photo printed in The Varsity, University of Toronto.

      Parkwood was the residence of R.S. McLaughlin in Oshawa. The Greenwood Family were guests of Mr. R.S. McLaughlin when the Viscount visited Whitby to unveil a memorial window to his parents at All Saints Anglican Church.

      In 1951 this store became Cloverleaf Grocery. It was demolished in 1955 for the construction of a Fina Service Station. Mary Helen Steffler's first job was working as a clerk at Mrs. Campo's store.
