      The public school (Chapel Street School) was built in 1869 and served the town until 1974. The addition was made in 1913. It was demolished in 1980. This is #7 in a series of postcards featuring Georgetown.

      A view of the Dominion Seed House with beds of blooming flowers in the foreground. It was founded by William F. Bradley in 1928 and supplied seeds by mail until closing. The buildings were demolished in 1999, leaving the foundation of the original barn, in Dominion Gardens.

      The Coated Paper Mills viewed across the railway tracks. This was the first all-concrete building in Georgetown, built by J. B. Mackenzie as the Georgetown Coated paper Mill in 1910. The Company, known as Domtar, ceased operation in 1977. The buildings still stand at 2 Rosetta Street.

      A sketch of the BA (British-American) service station and home of Joe and Kathleen (Kirby) Drake on the south-east corner of Ten Sideroad and Trafalgar Road. They operated the station here from 1940 until 1963.

      Memorial Arena on John Street (later 42 Mill Street) was acquired by the Town of Georgetown shortly before this postcard was issued. It was built in 1922 and demolished in 2014.
