      View of the launch of the SS Hamiltonian, the first large freighter to be launched at the Western Dry Dock and Ship Building Co., May 21, 1912. This was the third vessel to be launched. The Hamiltonian had a tonnage of 2,345, and a length of 257 feet.

      This is a photograph of J.W. Lalonde, Jack Hu?, and Joe York taken by G.W. Steen at M.P. 46 on June 8, 1912. James Bennett is also on steps of a coach further down.

      Wedding presents given to Ethel Gallagher included "silver pieces from the Ladies' String Orchestra, of which she was a valued member, [and] St. John Presbyterian Sunday school orchestra, of which she was leader". (Hamilton Spectator, 11 July 1913)

      Jim Whatmough (1882 - 1956) was the son of Edwin J. Whatmough Sr (1844 - 1921) and Betsy, née Broughton (1841 - 1918). He was the nephew of Isaac A. Whatmough and Jane née Millar.

      This is the South-west corner of Victoria Ave (Reg. Rd. 24) and Highway 8 (Reg. Rd 81). On a different copy of this postcard is the date "November 18, 1912".

      Condition: Okay. Stained and losing contrast. An enlargement is available for display.

      Condition: Both glossy and matte are very good condition.
