      This church was located at 15 Church Street on the east side of Church Street south of Mill Street (Cassels Road). It was built in 1862 and demolished in the 1920s after union with the Methodist Church.

      John Bruegeman was born in 1869 in Hanover, Ontario, owned a tailoring business in Waterloo from 1890 until shortly before his death in 1950. He was married to Sarah Anne Snyder and they had seven daughters, Vera, Adeen, Myrtle, Kathryn, Ruth (Kee), Lola (Cressman), and Margaret (Krueger).
