      The Royal Hotel was located at 171 Brock Street North, Whitby. It was built in 1873 on the east side of Brock Street, south of Mary Street. At the time this print was made, Antoine Rousseau was the hotel's operator.

      This building is located on 102 Brock Street South. The Royal Bank moved into this store in July 1929 and completed renovations of the building in May 1930.
