      While the company's official name at this time was "Penmans Limited", there were inconsistencies in the spelling; "Penman", "Penmans" and "Penman's" were all used interchangeably, though "Penmans" was most common. Signs in this photo use both "Penmans" and "Penman's".

      For her first sessions in Parliament, Agnes Macphail wore this blue serge coat and attracted much attention from the fashion reporters in the Gallery.
