      St. John's Anglican Church was built of Kingston limestone in 1846, it is located at 150 Victoria St. East, Whitby, Ontario (on the north side of Victoria Street, east of Brock Street).

      Handwritten notes on the back of the photograph read "Crawfords Camp, Bridgeland Township, about 1908, Situated along Beaver Creek north of turnoff to Phillip's Tourist camp."

      Includes James Cockburn, from Cobourg, Ontario.

      Painted postcard with a small envelope in the upper right corner. The envelope would have held the original message. The painting is of clover and roses, and predominately features the name 'Arthur.' The postcard also has smatterings of gold sparkles on it.

      Water was put into the container pictured and used to ice roads in the bush, so that horses could pull logs in the winter.
