      Mrs. Thomas Paxton (Eliza Huckins) was born on October 18, 1825. She was the wife of Thomas Paxton, sheriff of Ontario County from 1881 to 1887. She died at Whitby on November 8, 1907 and is buried in the Dryden Baptist Cemetery, Whitby Township.
