      Sarah Bedford, wife of George Kennedy died February 11, 1875. They were married on 24 May 1821. Also see George Kennedy at P110.

      Portrait of Harriet (Kennedy) Higgins. She is credited with being the first white European child born in Georgetown, daughter of George and Sarah Kennedy.

      Robert Christie, teacher at Ballinafad school, stands with his pupils against a rail fence. His father William was teacher at Stewarttown in 1842. Ballinafad school closed in 1869.

      George Kennedy (1799-1870) married Sarah Bedford (1798-1875) in 1821 at Gainsborough Township and moved to Esquesing Township.

      Portrait of Thomas Fyfe (1779-1870) seated on a chair. He was the first postmaster in Esquesing (1832), was a Justice of the Peace and was supportive of William Lyon Mackenzie leading up to the Rebellion of 1837.

      This may be Jacob Irvine Williams, only son of Jacob and Frances Williams. He died on 30 October 1879 aged 27 years.

      Joseph Hunt Beek was the brother of Frances Beek Huestis, wife of Jacob Williams. His nephew Jacob Irvine Williams (EHS10253) died in 1879.

      Mrs Roden, matron of General Hospital Toronto. William Roden ran a hotel in Glen Williams in the 1860s.
