      Brooklin United Church is located at 19 Cassels Road East. It was built in 1867 on the south-east corner of Mill Street (Cassels Road) and Princess Street as the Brooklin Methodist Church. In 1925 it became the Brooklin United Church.

      Hama Kobayshi was a Japanese student who died at the College in 1925. Her father provided furniture for the study hall as a memorial to his daughter. Ontario Ladies' College is now known as Trafalgar Castle School, and is located at 401 Reynolds Street.

      Quinton Shoe Store was located at 225 Brock Street South. The building was constructed in the 1850s on the east side of Brock Street north of Dunlop Street and was demolished in 1961. It was occupied by Robert Henry Quinton (1868-1958) from 1906 to 1958.

      Thomas McCann Grocery Store was located at 227 Brock Street South. This frame building was constructed in the 1850s on the east side of Brock Street, north of Dunlop Street. It stood south of Quinton’s shoe store. It was demolished in 1977.

      This photograph looks east on Dundas Street from Brock Street. The standard Bank building later became the Bank of Commerce. This building stood on the north east corner of Brock and Dundas Streets until it was demolished in 1964.
