      Worn by A.C. MacMillan during WWI. To be worn at all times under the clothes. In the event of a soldier's death, the red tag would be removed for administrative purposes while the green tags would be left on the body for identification.

      Farm Service Corps lapel badge (centre) was handed out to Ontario farmers who replaced men overseas. A.C. was originally assigned to the 248th battalion (sides). He was later assigned to the 3rd Canadian Division of the 58th Overseas Infantry Battalion (top).

      "Wartime Sugar Savers" issued by Consumer Section-Marketing Service Dominion Department of Agriculture. Contains tips on how to ration sugar and use it more conservatively. The reverse side contains recipes.

      Ration stamp booklet which belonged to nine year old Harvey Sutton of Puslinch, Ontario. Contains stamps used for purchasing foods that were deemed scarce such as meats, cheese, sugar, and coffee.

      Pte. Fred Smith of Eugenia Falls, Ontario was a member of the 15th Canadian Battalion. He died a prisoner of war in 1918 and was buried near Neuchatel, Switzerland.

      John moved his practice to Flesherton in 1929 and retired in 1949. His residence still stands in Flesherton on Durham Street at the end of Alice Street.

      A device for viewing a pair of images, depicting left-eye and right-eye views of the same scene, each taken at slightly different angles. When viewed together it produces a single three-dimensional image.

      A fairly simple box instrument, with three bass strings and three groups of three strings arranged in chords. Includes a slot (top left of the instrument) into which a harmonica may be inserted.

      The conductor was the captain of the train and his job was more than just ticket collection as the entire crew was under his supervision. One of his more important obligations was making sure the train arrived on time with the proper cargo.
