      This two page interview summary with 90 year-old Albert Suthers contains his memories of early days at Battle Point starting in 1923. He recalls first living in tents, buying milk from the Abernot's and square dances on Sunday evenings at Dufours.

      Mr.Rice relays that Association meetings were first held at Counsel Rock near the point and later at the Community House built in 1949.
