      Built in 1875, its most famous graduate is Arthur Meighen, ninth Prime Minister of Canada. The school has been added onto many times, and has been a public school since 1955 when a new high school building was opened. Was renamed Arthur Meighen Public School in 1984.

      Postcard view of Lakeside, Ontario. With a large lake and lots of landscape, Lakeside is considered a great place to visit during the summer months for boating and other outdoor activities. Groups from St. Marys frequently traveled to this little lake for picnics.

      Westover Park was built in 1867 for William and Joseph Hutton, early settlers of St. Marys. The home has had many different uses over the years including a Catholic seminary, a commune and is now a luxury hotel catering especially to Stratford Festival Theatre patrons.
