      Little Britain Public School SS No. 8 which was built in 1913 and opened in 1914. It was destroyed by fire in 1928. It was located beside the current Baptist Community Church on Eldon Road, north of the four corners.

      Video was filmed at the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto by Dr. George C.R. Hall in the 1920s. A copy of this video was provided by Marylou Hall as part of a presentation on her family.

      Built 1913, originally as a two room school, but due to high attendance an extra room was added. Described as “a modern school, with new equipment and an excellent library.”

      Destroyed by fire in March 1928, at a cost of $13,000. Cause of fire unknown. Newspaper clipping revealed that an individual ran into the building and brought out 1500 rounds of ammunition and rifles used by the cadets at the school.
