      Gas-electric passenger car, Canadian Northern Station, Belleville. This car was self propelled. This car is numbered #500.

      W.J.Brown was the first permanent fire chief of Belleville. He served in this capacity from January 1st 1916 until his death from injuries suffered in the Springer Lock Company fire of 1928.

      Nicholson Catholic College opened its doors to 140 Grades 11, 12 and 13 students in September 1960. The new facility consisted of eight classrooms including a chemistry lab, biology room and commercial room equipped with 25 typewriters, a gym, library, lunch room and staff room.
