      The technology embedded in today's digital camera photographs such as GPS location, compass orientation so we know which way the photographer was facing, date, even time of day will do more to help historians with these questions in the future.

      A postcard illustrating the Radial Bridge in Oakville. The Hamilton Radial Railway operated between Hamilton and Oakville and the tracks ran along what is now Rebecca Street. The Anderson Bridge replaced the Radial bridge in the early 1960s. The headquarters building on Randall Street still stands today.

      This is the brick schoolhouse built at Palermo, Trafalgar Township in 1875. It sat back a bit further on the lot than does the new building. The school was hit by lightening and ultimately destroyed, with a new building for the school opening in 1942.
