      The house was moved in the early 2000s to Robert Street, opposite the Fairgrounds, in order to make way for parking facilities for the additions to the Town Hall. Knox Church can be seen in the background,

      In the early years of 2000, the house was moved from its location on Mary Street to Bell Street. This was to accommodate the expansion of the Town Hall and the accompanying parking areas.

      Built in 1890 by George Blair for John Dalton. This property was designated under the Ontario Heritage Act in 2000

      An earlier frame church stood west of this building on land deeded in 1830 by Moses McCay. This stone church replaced it in 1859. The land for the cemetery was donated by the Springer family with the earliest grave dated 1828.
