      This brick school burned in 1932. A new school opened in 1933 on the same site. The first school was log and located at the corner of Walker's Line and Derry Road

      The picture was taken in June 1954, the year the school closed. The final Grade seven and eight classes.

      Mrs. Anna Goldstraw taught at limestone School 1948-1954. The picture was taken in the spring of 1954, the year the school closed. Students were then bused to Fairview School, Brittania Road, near Lowville, Ontario.
