      The Court House is now the Milton Town Hall. On the back of the post card the letters "AZO" are stamped four times making a square for the postage stamp. Not known if this is a publisher's mark.

      The monument, supplied by the Thomson Monument Co. of Toronto, was purchased by public subscription and erected during 1926. The unveiling was held on Sunday, September 5, 1926 at 3 p.m. The monumnent was unveiled by Col. Henry Cockshutt, Lieut. Governor of Ontario.

      This was the old CNR station originally situated on the east side of Bronte, south of the P.L. Robertson office. Now the Tourst information building. It is situated on Martin (Highway 25) on the west side just north of Steeles.

      The McGibbon House served Milton as a hotel for many decades under various names. It was destroyed by fire in 1973.

      The building served as the town hall until 1985 at which time town administration was moved to the renovated Court House/Jail building in Victoria Square. This building now houses offices.       Written in pencil on the back of the postcard is "Moved to new telephone office from Higginbotham's Drugstore. Mr. McIntyre Manager. Sunday morning. Telephonist Mabel Wharton (Mrs. Gordon McNab.)"

      Update - Unity Park has been renamed Chris Hadfield Park. The building now serves as headquarters for the United Way of Milton and the Tourist Information Centre. Located at the intersection of Steels and Highway 25.

      Located at the corner of Martin and Main. Also known as the Dewar Block.

      Located in Victoria Park Square, Milton, Ont. Built in 1855 and enlarged in 1877, the building served as Halton County's Court House and Jail until 1974. It was purchased by the Town of Milton in 1982 and renovated to serve as the Town Hall, opening in 1985.

      The Soldiers' Reception was held in Milton in September 1919 to honour Milton's returning soldliers from WWI. For further information see Canadian Champion, September 18, 1919.
