 Kawartha Lakes This Week, Kawartha Lakes This Week, 4 May 2020     The local health unit reported 3 new positive COVID-19 cases in Kawartha Lakes. This brought the total number of cases to 142. No new deaths or resolved cases were reported. Three outbreaks (Pinecrest Nursing Home [Bobcaygeon], Ross Memorial Hospital [Lindsay], Case Manor [Bobcaygeon]) were still ongoing.

      The Lindsay Remembrance Day ceremony was attended by a reduced crowd due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 Sobanski, Sarah, Kawartha Lakes This Week, 1 Apr 2020     Bobcaygeon and Area COVID-19 Relief Fund has raised over $20,000 from the community within three days. Funds will go towards supporting health care workers, Pinecrest Nursing Home, their families, and others in need in the Bobcaygeon and area community.
