      Centriller replaced the former Bronte (Public) School, S.S. 13.

      The Petrie house and Magnet Inn stood at the southwest corner of Jones and Lakeshore Road, Bronte. This photograph was taken in July or August 1974 by standing across the road in front of Centriller Public School, looking east to Jones Street. Both now demolished.

      #19, Edith Speers was absent when the photograph was taken; she was ill with diptheria. The photographer returned to later photograph the Baptist-Methodist picnic and photographed Edith.
