      Rodger Robertson (1890-1967) built his house on lot 16, concession 4, on the flat land at the bottom of bunker hill which came to be known as Robertson Flats to the local population. Rodger married lillian Jones, and they farmed the area along Robertson Creek.

      Mark Robertson built the original stone structure of this house sometime in the late 19th century. The homestead was located on lots 18 and 19, concession 5, on Bunker Hill.

      The building was originally constructed in 1886 by Thessalon's second mayor, William Thomson Sr. Some of the building's first tenants were a general store, a ladies wear store, and a shoe store.       The dinner was held at the Catholic Church in Thessalon in 1990. It is noted that she was the oldest member of the church at the time of the photo. This photo be found in the Tweedsmuir History created by the Nesterville Women's Institute.
