      Mildmay Camp was located on the shore of Lake Ontario, east of the Cranberry Marsh in Whitby Township. It was an Anglican Church camp which was operated from around 1927 to 1953 by the Mildmay Institute of Toronto.

      The President of the Society for 1947 was: George Tait. Secretary/Treasurer: Mrs. Boville. Auditors: George Nicholson and Mrs. A. Martin. Expenses totalled $4,451.31 and Receipts $4,534.43 leaving $83.12 on hand.

      In 1946 there were 74 telephones in use and 73 1/2 miles of single wire.
