      Mrs. Thomas Jackson (Mary Ellen Wilson), was born in Ireland in 1841 and lived at Port Whitby. She died at Whitby on March 2, 1923 and was the mother of Albert Wilson Jackson, an important political figure in Whitby. Mrs. Jackson is buried at St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Port Whitby.

      George Tait Mathison, son of David and Elizabeth Mathison, was born in Ontario about 1862. He died at Whitby on December 27, 1929 and is buried at Union Cemetery, Oshawa.
