      This picture shows the first traction steam engine east of Toronto at Pat Grady's farm at Audley. The engine was built by the Waterloo Manufacturing Company of Waterloo, Ontario.

      Henry Street School was built in 1854 on the block bounded by King, Dunlop, Henry, and Gilbert Streets and is now occupied by R.A. Sennett Public School. The school, which faced Henry Street, was destroyed by fire on 4 July 1920.

      Arthur Warren Burnham was the son of Judge Zacheus Burnham. He was born at Whitby on March 26, 1872 and died at Whitby on May 2, 1894. He is buried at Oshawa Union Cemetery.
