      The Illustrated Historical Atlas of Grey & Bruce Counties 1880, contains a historical record of the county, description of towns and villages, a county directory by township, population statistics, and detailed township maps with land owners names.

      George Henry Wilkinson 1842-1916 and wife Maria Patterson 1863-1939. George Wilkinson was one of the seven sons and three daughters of francis Wilkinson and Clarissa Simons.

      This frame house was built as the residence of John Watson (1798-1897), a resident of Almonds. The house burned down in the late 1930s or early 1940s. The house was located on lot 35 of Concession 2.
