      Torontonians have a long and happy tradition of heading north to cottage country during the long, hot days of summer. This virtual exhibit explores cottage-related items from our Special Collections.

      Early surveyors, like William E. Logan, used Rochon micrometer telescopes and targets (disk on a calibrated pole) to measure distance.
